It has a magnetic snap closure as well as a zipper to close the main compartment. The nearly 2" wide strap is adjustable. The overall dimensions are about 11" by 12". Last, but certainly not least - the EMBROIDERY! This bag has super cool, retro-inspired, groovy, gorgeous embroidery that we just can't say enough about! I ordered this bag a little over a year ago and it's one of my all time favorites! The embroidery on it is beautiful and very eye-catching (I get compliments on it all the time), and the happy design makes me smile every time I look at it! It's spacious but also very sturdy. I normally have at least one book and one water bottle in it at all times - in addition to standard purse contents, and it's still going strong. I've washed it several times as well (always sure to let it air dry), and haven't had any issues as a result of that either. It's a durable, spacious, and beautiful bag that will be a favorite for a long time!
